Easy to clean comfortable dog beds
Dogs, unlike humans, are happy to walk barefoot directly from the muddy garden in to their beds. We can do our best to clean their paws etc, but at the end of the day dog beds will get dirtier a lot quicker than human beds.
The best dog bed to have, which is easy to clean and also super comfortable for your dog is a Wipe Clean Nest with a Full Nest Cover. This is really belt and braces in terms of the bed being so completely comfortable and soft and at the same time nice and easy to strip (like your own bed) for washing.
This arrangement really is the best you can ask for if you want fantastic comfort and cleanliness. Each time you wash and dry the covers the dog bed looks like you just bought it. This owes to the fact that the sides on the Tuffies nests are totally sturdy and will stay upright for absolute years. The structure of the bed remains perfect with years of use. We have customers, who have used our beds for 10-15 years and rave about them. We hear so often that people have added up how much they have spent on dog beds over the last year or two and realise that they could easily have spent the same on a quality dog bed from Tuffies and saved themselves all the disappointment and saved the planet too.
The great thing is that you can use a Wipe Clean Tuffies Nest Dog Bed perfectly well without any of the fleece covers. Many people use the bed with all the covers in the winter and then they take them off in the warmer summer period. It is such a versatile dog bed.
The nests are the absolute luxury for your dog, but you have other Tuffies options. We cater for dogs, but we also cater for what the dogs’ humans find best. Therefore we have made the Raised Tuffie bed. With this one your dog can sit higher from the floor, nearer the family so to speak, and enjoy a bed with sides. This bed is formed in plastic and has a fitted fleece cover to go over it. This means that you quickly can take the cover off and put it in the washing machine. The plastic bed itself is then straight forward to wash down and clean. The absolute simplest way to deal with dog beds. The Raised bed is not quite as deep (on the sides) as the nest, but padded with our thick luxury fleece material. The base is made from two pieces of pet bedding sandwiched between two layers of luxury fleece for nice comfort. The whole Raised Bed is hollow, so under the dog is still air, which of course is the essense of insulation.
If you have a dog the chews his beds, we can supply a money-back-guaranteed chew proof dog bed, the Really Tough Tuffie. This, on the face of it, does not look comfy as such, but if you consider the worst chewers among dogs, who cannot have a bed at all, this is bliss for them. They can suddenly have their own comfy place to sleep, where they are supported under their body by a waterproof fabric and 10cm of hollow fibre insulation. Some chewing dogs cannot have a normal dog bed without wrecking it, so they have often been sleeping on the bare floor boards, or even in the concrete kennels, for years developing calluses and being permanently chilled to the bones. They can now climb in to a wonderful place to keep warm and supported.
To clean this haven, you just lean it up against the wall and clean it all over with hot, soapy water followed by a good rinse down. Your can leave it to air dry or you can towel it dry and put it back in the kennel. You can of course take the whole thing apart as well, which gives you access to the stuffing and the fabric as well as the inside of the two plastic parts. This is an expensive dog bed, but you will be able to keep it literally for ever. The only parts you will need to replace are the cover and the stuffing, which is very low cost.
