COVER FABRIC:
High Tenacity Polyester camouflage print, this is the same fabric that the police use for their stab vests so it is, as you can imagine a very very strong fabric, If you are looking for the type of dog beds that feel, look and perform like the best quality upholstery fabric, then this is for you. You will find that the hair doesn't stick to the fabric either. We have had this fabric specially made for us with the amazing quality the great print and it is also 100% waterproof. You can hose these dog beds down or take a damp cloth over them and simply towel it dry.
STUFFING:
All of our dog beds contain a substantial futon mattress based on polyester hollow fibre. The futon mattress supports your dog’s joints to perfection and gives 100% insulation from any cold floor. The futon channels mean that nothing moves or lumps and the thick insulation remains intact year in year out. Inside our dog beds nothing moves, clumps or flattens.
CLEANING THE CAMOUFLAGE TUFFIE DOG BEDS:
It will only take a couple of minutes to vacuum the dog beds free of hairs and dried-up mud. With the totally waterproof cover nothing penetrates to the inside. Should your dog beds need some extra spring cleaning, you can use hot, soapy water to remove any staining followed by a hosepipe rinse. The waterproofing ensures that even after a rainy, muddy walk no dampness penetrates through the fabric, which in turn ensures that you don’t get smelly dog beds.
CHEWABLE? Nothing that you can cut with scissors is chew-proof!! Our dog beds are made from the most durable material available, but a determined dog will always be able to cause damage. We find that sometimes our delighted customers will tell their friends that Tuffies dog beds are virtually indestructible, but unfortunately nothing is, not even a Tuffie. Tuffies are robust, stay thick and insulating and they last for years, but they are not chew-proof.
