I am a huge fan of Tuffies Dog Beds and they have adorned our house for many years. My new arrival, a brilliant young sheep dog Gwen, who is with me on the farm every day turned out to be a bed chewer. So I decided to get the Really Tough Tuffie and it is brilliant! It’s warm and supportive and incredibly easy to clean and she hasn’t chewed it! Now I don't have to worry about her getting ill from ingesting bits of dog bed! She is clean, safe and comfortable in this bed. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for my new bed. Very comfy - I even deserted the sofa to lie on it last night. I think I’m quite well camouflaged on the Black Watch tartan. My human says it’s much easier to move around than the big Tuffie bed in my crate, and that it should be easier to get the cover off and back on again when it needs washing because I’ve made it muddy.

We recently ordered two dog beds and dog dryer covers.

 I would like to say how happy we are with the purchase. The beds and covers are excellent quality and I am really happy that they have been made in Scotland.

We are keen to support British made products rather than imported goods

 Many years ago we had bought these products for our previous lot of dogs. I think we may have seen a stand at a CLA Game Fair.

 For some reason we had forgotten about you guys and I can only apologise! as I have missed having such good quality dog beds for our hounds.

Currently we have 2 Rotty/ mastiff dogs. They absolutely love the beds and because of the great covers there is less hair and dirt in the house!

 So pleased to see that you are still trading.

Good morning,

Hope all is well up in Scotland.

WE bought one of your dog beds which was delivered last April.

Owing to various issues we didn’t get our new Briard puppy until November so it has been patiently waiting in the loft.

This weekend we took Dolly out of her cage and into you Tuffies bed and as you can see she loves it.

It really is excellent quality and we will certainly recommend you to other dog owners.

Tommy and Poppy are enjoying their new bed despite the fire not being lit. Poppy (right) normally prefers the sofa , not now ! Tommy initially insulted by the invasion, barking at it (he is only 9 months old) but he too loves it now. Great product thus far, thank you

Thank you for your email. I’ve been buying your beds for about 10-15 years and they really are the best beds I’ve ever used. I’ve converted a few friends to your beds as well.
Here is a photo of my 9 year old Bullmastiff Martha lounging in her easy access nest. This bed has been the best purchase to date. She loved her mattresses, but as she got older I saw her scrunching it up to snuggle. I then thought the nest would suit her and she loves it.
With her now having the odd seizure, it gives her protection and it’s so easy to clean if she soils it mid seizure.
Yet another quality product from yourself

We would like to thank you and your team for getting Barney’s Tuffie nest to us prior to his operation
He had the op two weeks ago and has been on a period of rest which has been spent between his crate —with tuffie mattress and his new nest
As you can see he is very relaxed and cosy in the nest !!!!
We have a burmese cat Penny and wondered if the mini wolf bed is suitable for cats—she weighs 4.5 k

Dear Tuffies team,

My wife and I would like to lodge a complaint about our recent purchase of a nest bed and cover for our dog Daisy. Since we have had Daisy’s new nest she will no longer cuddle us on the sofa which we are distraught about!! In the past Daisy would rest happily in the evening on our lap and get stroked lovingly all night. Furthermore, she now refuses to come to bed at bedtime. She is so happy with her new nest that her love for us has gone!! Please could you send a courier immediately to recover this wonderful bed that has stolen our doggy from us?

Attached photo of our 6 year old English Springer Spaniel, Tilly in her new Tuffies raised bed which arrived last week. I hope you will be able to publish this on your gallery.

Being a typical highly strung spaniel, Tilly was slightly nervous of her bed at first especially since the first time she put her paws in, she pushed it so that it moved slightly! Having now got over her nervousness of the new arrival she now loves her bed and watches in comfort over the coming and goings in the kitchen.

We purchased a Tuffie bed for our lovely Golden Retriever - ‘Nanuk’ some years ago. (2014). The bed has been absolutely brilliant and is loved by Nanuk. We recently washed the covers- Nanuk was rather puzzled by this process but was so happy to jump back into bed as soon as it was warm and dry.

We’ve just received our new Tuffies bed, mainly bought as a replacement bed for Brio our 14 year old GWP. However, someone else decided he thought it was rather comfy, hence the guilty look from 4 year old Torin, HWV. So far it looks to be the best dog bed we’ve ever had in nearly 40 years of dog ownership, and we’ve been through a few well known good brands!

We purchased our first tuffies wipe clean mattress as a christmas present for our Great Dane Pepper... and its fabulous! The quality of these dog beds vs the pet store hardest wearing beds isnt even in the same league. The only problem I found was my 2 mini schnauzers loved it so much Pepper couldnt get a look in... so I had to buy another (and my mini schnauzers beds dont usually last long before they get eaten, but up to now its wearing beautifully! its a very thick hardwearing fabric!). Being zip free and wipe clean for me is a must, the zips are usually where the schnauzers "get in" and the great dane hair doesnt stick to the beds at all. Jodie and her team are great, amazingly helpful with super fast delivery. I 100% WISH i had discovered these beds years ago!

I cannot recommend these beds enough, over the years I’ve had many, many beds, none live up to the quality, comfort & wear of these beds, saving our family money, I’ve had 5 beds for 5 different dogs, the first bed is still as good as the newest.

We just thought we would let you know about the Tuffies bed we bought 12 years ago.
Our Dalmatian puppy Lola was a demon. Every bed, quilt, pillow and cushion was destroyed within 24hrs.
We bought her a Tuffies ' Lola proof ' bed. It worked, she just couldn't manage to chew and rip it as there was nothing there to get her teeth on. The strangest thing was that when she couldn't chew her bed anymore she simultaneously stopped chewing up our house and furniture.
The bed is as good as the day it was new 12 years ago and I'm not kidding.

I am so pleased I found your company, I dithered for ages before buying a bed from you, purely as I know she trashed so many before and it was obviously a considered purchase if it did get eaten!!! I nearly bought the one you have for "bed killers" and I am so glad we took a chance on the durasoft nest instead, I think cos its so tight fitting with the cushion, she never once tried to find an edge to starting ripping it apart, that and it's so comfy, she chills out instead. Honestly I wish I had bought one at the start as we have gone through so many before this one and even every blanket, throw or old duvet she has turned into a string vest within a very short time. I was a bit worried with the lovely new cover she might then detect an opportunity to find a looser bit and have a go at it but now, however busy she is, she just doesn't associate her bed with this type of destructive behaviour any more! These beds are nothing short of a miracle for a lively, ripping and chewing loving collie. Best money we ever spent and she must be so much happier too, getting a proper comfy undisturbed night's sleep. Sleeping on a cold floor or beds and blankets that have become rags is not the one!! I have just received the dreaded letter that says it has to be returned even though I told them that it looked so good on the Dresser that I didn't want to give it back lol. I therefore took Violet and the trophy out yesterday to get a photo of her with it before it goes back and thought you may like to see it. Thank you for continuing to support the Class it really is appreciated by those of us wanting to show that that these gorgeous dogs can and do work.

What fantastic service! I only ordered a bespoke size mattress bed on Monday and it arrived today, Thursday. A perfect fit for the car and my two pooches are delighted! This is now their third bed from you, so they know just how comfy it will be, and our super-allergic dog will be happy too.

You might be interested to hear that the delivery man asked about your beds as he has delivered quite a few recently … he has 10 dogs, so might need to save up, but we gave you a high recommendation. Worth every penny! Many thanks Sue Harrison

I wanted to write to let you how amazing the The Durasoft Nest Dog Bed XXL is for our 2 Rescue Dobermans Troy and Olga. As you can see from the photo they have plenty of room to stretch out an they absolutely love it.
The quality is exceptional and is extremely well made, and we no longer have to watch telly with them under our feet so everyone wins. Once they are in they don't want to come out and I'm not surprised it's super comfy.

This is simply the best dog bed we have ever had! We went for the extra large as he needs to share it with our two cocker spaniels! Contrary to what it looks like, the object beside him is an antler and not a pipe!

She has destroyed so many beds over the years I have lost count. Normally it's a matter of days before she makes a hole and pulls out all the stuffing. She hasn't even tried to get a purchase on this one.

Also, the high walls mean she is protected from the drafts and the mattress keeps her warm from the cold floor.

Large Durasoft Nest

Hi Christine,

We got our first Tuffie this afternoon, my Labrador absolutely LOVES it. I was unsure if the large would be big enough (she's 30kg but on a diet) but she loves it and rests her head on the sides. I'm sat on the sofa listening to her gentle contented snoring.

My only grumble is my golden retriever pup and westie also seem to love it so that means buying two more.

Hi Christine,So far so good. It took quite a few treats to get him onto it at first. We put some of the old bedding in with him to make him feel at home and to give him something to chew on. He managed to scrabble away the sewn in label and ate half of it. Now he hops in happily and despite some scrabbling the fabric is surviving and he doesn't want to get out of his cage in the morning! I hope it continues!! Please find attached a picture of what he did to the last fleece blanket he had and also a picture of himself in cage (He's a Teckel - a working bred dachshund called Gryphon).Best Regards,

we also have another Lab who also has a red Tuffies bed! they are wonderful, so strong & as they have higher sides lovely & warm, the only suggestion I would make is, as they are very heavy would a handle on the outside be something you would consider?

Hi I just wanted to write to you as a long standing customer and let you know that although i have bought around 15 or so of your beds for my gang of dogs, (most rescues) ive found the beds to be probably the best product i have ever bought in my life! Some ive had for at least 10 years.They are so durable and long lasting and still hold there's shape and comfort. I have them in the dog sleeping room , down the stables and over my work yard/offices, the dogs roam freely and are generally smothered and wet from constant long country walks through our local forest and through lakes. Well done for making a truly great product thats probably too good as i cant find a reason to buy more!! See photos of the regular hose down and scrub.
