One: No covers, just a 100% waterproof dog bed.
This is the perfect solution if you do not want to put anything with dog hairs in the washing machine. Tuffies' dog beds are all completely waterproof. The fabrics come in two types: a smooth, easy to wipe clean and a textured fabric with a waterproof backing. Whichever one you choose, your dog can live in this bed as it is with no extra soft covers. This is particularly great when the weather is hot.
Two: A Tuffie Nest with a machine washable cover in the base.
The Tuffies Nest dog beds are in two parts as a round mattress sits in the base of a surround. Tuffies supplies machine washable covers for the base itself, which you can take off in seconds and wash in the machine. While you wash this, your dog can still use the bed. Three: The Full Nest Cover.
This is the option of totally covering your Tuffies Nest dog bed where you have both the cushion cover and a cover that goes right over the sides. With a total cover like this you with rarely need to hose down the base product of the nest itself. You simply take the side cover and the cushion covers off and wash them in the machine. They protect the inner bed surface so well that doggy smell doesn't penetrate. You can wash and dry any of these covers over night. They wash at 60 C and dry very, very fast. Again, you can use the nest itself while the covers are in the wash because it is still a comfortable nest without the covers.
